Letter From the President

From The President:

Hello, and welcome to the new Derry Township Agricultural Fair website. Please visit often to be informed of any updates or changes. Be sure to check the fair schedule for all the attractions and events. Please come and visit our community fair, we’ll be looking for you !
Our fair association members work year round to bring you the best entertainment possible. New for 2010 is a mechanical bull ride. Bring a friend to see if he’s up for the challenge. Wear him out, then race him with a twelve hundred pound hay bale. We are happy to welcome back The Saddle Up Band. They will be no stage Friday prior to fireworks.
Come enjoy all the exhibits, see a livestock show, or even purchase a market animal ! The knowledge and responsibility our youth gain with these projects are the foundation of our fair. And don’t forget that great fair food !
A special thank you to the countless businesses and individuals in the community and beyond. Your support is the backbone of our fair. Whether a large donation or small contribution, we could not do it without you.
I want to thank the “old” members of the Fair Association for their many years of dedication and support. The young members for their enthusiasm, and their willingness to accept responsibility. And all the others who work so hard to make this fair a success. Thank You !
If you would like to participate in the Derry Township Agricultural Fair in any way, including becoming a member, please contact any Association member. Thank you, and enjoy the fair.
John Hebenthal, President
Derry Township Agricultural Fair Association
